1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the JobWeave application and website at jobweave.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

JobWeave is a job search management platform that helps users track applications, scan email for job-related communications, and generate AI-tailored resumes. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or through a supported OAuth provider (Google, LinkedIn). You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service (except as explicitly permitted via our API)
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Use the AI features to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Subscriptions and Payments

JobWeave offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Billing occurs on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period
  • Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 14 days of a charge for a refund request
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the property of JobWeave and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (resumes, job descriptions, notes). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

AI-generated content (such as tailored resumes) is provided for your personal use. You own the output generated from your content.

7. Gmail Integration

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, you acknowledge that:

  • We request read-only access to your Gmail inbox
  • We only scan for and extract data from job-related emails
  • We do not read, store, or share your personal or non-job-related emails
  • You can revoke Gmail access at any time from your account settings or from your Google account permissions
  • Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to tailor resumes and extract information. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
  • AI output should not be used as-is without human review
  • We do not guarantee that AI-tailored resumes will result in job interviews or offers

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobWeave and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
